Can a name start with ー or is that not proper since ー 'elongates the vowel sound of the character in front of it?'
According to www.orientaloutpost.com Erbe is aabu / abu アーブ do I have to put the ー in?
Also that sounds like "a-boo" whereas aabi / abi would sound like "a-bee" which to me is closer and better.
