Japanese Scrabble

Not sure if this has already been given as an idea, so I am sorry if it's already been suggested.
I think a Japanese version of Scrabble in both romaji and Kana would be a very useful tool. If anyone has any ideas on this or know where I might be able to find a game like that, either video game or board game. Thank you in advance for any help.

I agree with you; those games with Japanese words are definitely fun and educative.
I'm not too sure if there's any roma-ji game for that, but I'm sure there're some words-related games
with hiragana with/without kanji.
If you don't have problem browsing sites in Japanese, search under 文字 and ゲーム (or パズル).

I made a basic Japanese Scrabble- its a work in progress- remember to enter your number of players (can be 1) then click the first page.

Unfortunately the game engine has poor support for Kana or Kanji so that will be later.

If you could help by making 32 by 32 pixel images with both transparent and white backgrounds with both hiragana and katakana such as ウ/う　with text size 14 pixels in the centre and put them all in JPG format that would help a lot. I am mostly trying to get scoring working at the moment and perhaps drawing a Kanji.

Thanks if you want to do values but the values can be done by within the software- it supports printing alphanumeric text.
And I can do distributions using the programming.

I just need the complete hiragana/ (katakana- if you wish) plus chisai っ - One set of kana.
