This is the perfect place to post that question. I'm going to ask one of my Japanese penpals what my name would be, just to compare things. ^^

Just to add some variety, one of my older Japanese friends said he would use キャシー, based on how I pronounce my name. I know that everyone has their idea, so I thought i'd post this too.

Hi,

I wonder what 'TBL' would be in Japanese? (It's a name of a group) I was thinking first it would be Toburu (トブル) but I got the suggestion that Tibieru ( ティービーエル) would be better. So I'm wondering which to go with (or other suggestions as well)

TBL should be pronounced as it is in English.

Cheers!

Daniel

If it is pronounced letter by letter (tee-bee-ell), then yes, the suggestion of ティービーエル would be correct :)

Hello,

My name in hungarian is Dénes Szántó, I dont know if you can translate it form this one, so in English my surname means Dennis as far as I know but I use Dan, Dean or Deano most of the time when Im in the UK and with my last name I just leave off the accents so its like Szanto

Thanks :)
