relax, adopt a more zen attitude to it all.
Now if you want some peeves,
the way people quote whole posts and nested quotes....
and overuse of emoticons (
to be or not to be ,that is the question ... Shakespeare could have done with a bit of technology to express himself clearer. )
but
十人十色 and :zen attitude: (or is :taoist attitude: what I'm after? the achy legs thing is a little... )

it's an easy mistake.
Enough people use it and it’s a valid usage. Language changes that's the beauty of it prehaps. There are worse acquired mis-usages in English at any rate but at least this has the logic of roman-ji.
Maybe they are talking about romantic characters. ロマン字、愛、恋、桜、美、(^.^)
