参りましょう。 (Mairimashō.)

次は新宿、新宿。 (Tsugi wa Shinjuku, Shinjuku.)

新宿です。 (Shinjuku desu.)

1. 私は...に行きたいのですが (Watashi wa ... ni ikitai no desu ga.) "I'd like to go to ...."

なので、例えば東京駅なら、 (Nanode, tatoeba Tōkyō eki nara,)

私は東京駅に行きたいのですが。 (Watashi wa Tōkyō eki ni ikitai no desu ga.)

"I'd like to go to Tokyo station."

2. ここは...行きのプラットホームですか (Koko wa ... iki no purattohōmu desu ka.) "Is this the right platform for …."

ここは渋谷行きのプラットフォームですか。 (Koko wa Shibuya iki no purattohōmu desu ka.)

"Is this the right platform for Shibuya station?"

"Yes, it is."

3. 終電は何時ですか。 (Shūden wa nan-ji desu ka.) "What time is the last train?"

4. どこで…行きに乗り換えますか (Doko de ...iki ni norikaemasu ka.) "Where do I change for...? "

8. バス停はどこですか。 (Basutei wa doko desu ka.) "Where is the bus stop?"

9. 次のバスは何時ですか。 (Tsugi no basu wa nan-ji desu ka.) "What time is the next bus?"
