Embedded questions

Okay, I'm having a huge hassle with embedded questions (i.e. do you know WHO that person is? Do you know WHAT the problem is?)

For example, my self-set "homework" has been to figure out how to translate, "I don't see what you think is wrong with my hair." I think I would first figure out, 'what is wrong with my hair,' then how to add, 'you think,' and finally add in, "I don't see.'

But I'm pretty lost at how to do that; could someone help me please?

Here's my attempt: あなたが僕の髪の問題はどう思うか僕には分からない。

Yet, I doubt that's even close. Help! Also, anyone who's got this down, how'd you master it?

That's actually really close. But what you wrote is actually, "I don't understand what you think of my hair's mistake" or something similar. I would say:

あなた、僕の髪は何が悪いと思うか僕にはわからない。

Wow, what a weight off my shoulders! It's such a relief to know I was close. I figured that using mondai was wrong and that I should use nani/nan somewhere in there, but wasn't sure where.
