"Working" In Japanese.

Postby TekneeQ » March 16th, 2007 7:57 pm

Hi guys, name is Sean and I work in fine jewelry retail in Hawaii. Over 80% of our customer base our Japanese tourists. Do you thing you could do a lesson on usefull sales phrases and ways to communicate in a work environment, it would be really helpful. Arigatou Gozaimasu.

I think this is an excellent idea; not only would it help those who cater to Japanese clientelle, but those of us who go into Japanese businesses in Japan are constantly bombarded with incredibly polite and humble Japanese...and there is no other time we learn or use it, so even those of us with some Japanese under our belts are often lost completely.

I think this would be a good suggestion.
The jewelry idea would be good too , having a foreign salesman introducing his wares .It could be a first time busines situation to help a foeigner introduce themselves and the product .how to go about it the best way.
