Juria Robatsu no shinsaku wa do desu ka?

Ja, betsu betsu ni mimasu ka?

what does ni and do mean in these sentences?

"ni" is used to create an adverb from a na adjective, like the "ly" in "separately".
"dou" = "how", as in "how does it taste", etc.

Aren't all the translations already in the lesson? Anyway, "betsubetsu ni" means "separately." As JohnC said, the ni makes it an adverb. konya issho ni eiga o mimasen ka? (tonight, would you like to see a movie together?) Juria Robatsu no shinsaku wa dou desu ka? (how is the new Julia Roberts film?) The grammar at play here is elementary, so if you don't understand what's going on, I advise you get a textbook.

The explanation in the lesson is somewhat limited. The PDF does not cover べつべつに and you must have at least a basic membership to see even that.
So while getting a textbook is a good idea, also feel free to ask questions here. We are happy to help.

Ah, aye. Upon reviewing I realized my response came off a bit cold-- sorry about that. Like John said, questions are always welcome here. Still, getting some kind of grammar supplement in print is always a good idea.

Since you've got 「べつべつ」 in your head already, why not memorize 「べつに」? You'll hear it a lot in place of where you'd say "it's nothing, really..." in English.
