Passive Verb Endings- Do these get further conjugated?

Say you have the passive form of a verb, like 見られる。 When using these in a sentence, do you additionally conjugate it, or is it good as is?

What I mean is, if I say "That guy was seen" or 「あいつ見られる」、do I need to add anything to 見られる？　Like make it into 見られりました、 or is that double-conjugation (and wrong)?

Also, what about the same question with potentials (like 見させる)?

No, you have to continue to agglutinate. Adding one suffix that means "passive" doesn't prevent you from adding another one that means "polite" or "past tense".

Another thought, is using the informal あいつ together with the formal ます form considered strange?

No telling on that last one... I've used rude, informal speech for a long time before I was finally blessed with the "proper" way to speak. Does possibly seem a little strange though.

Yeah, you probably wouldn't use them together.

"Aitsu" is too direct a word to use in formal Japanese, IMO.

It was just a hypothetical example anyway... (あいつ is for talking "about" people, not "to" people )
