Viewing Japanese characters without installing anything?

Hi all!

On my home computer I have installed support for Japanese and can use JPod without any problems. However, I'm often on computers where for some reason I can't install the Japanese character support for IE. Does anybody know of a site that can display Japanese characters for browsers that are not enabled for Japanese? Shoudouka (http://lfw.org/shodouka/) used to be a good tool, but it doesn't seem to be working any more.
