Have you used what jpod101 has taught you?

Has anyone here had a chance to use what we've learned from the jpod101 crew?
I'd love to hear some stories, and I'm sure they would too.

For myself I've used restaurant related phrases numerous times.
Also during karate class when my friend Manami and I do our kata together I am able to use, "Mo ichi do, yukuri onegai shimasu."
Also with Manami I'm able to practice stating my condition. All the various stages of Genki, haha.

I think I use it all the time with my fiancée. Particularly the mimesis.

Actually, I think jpod is best if you're able to use it. I use it daily... the programs are a little different to recall.

It would be nice if there was a little more structured repetition... like using a word 1 lessons later, then 2 lessons after that, then 4 lessons after that. and then maybe 6 lessons after that.

I've said some stuff to friends who take Japanese class and students from Japan but not a whole lot. Haven't had much chance to use it yet.

I am like The Frankensteiner --- tomorrow is my conversation interview test with my Japanese teacher and I plan to use "mo ichido, yukkuri onegai shimasu"!! Very handy phrase. You should hear how fast she talks!!

The other day I had a whole conversation in the work irc channel in nihongo. I'm sure I made lots of mistakes, and by the end I was down to one word replies, but I managed to keep english out and still be understood. We were talking about stress and going to the gym, then we had a discussion about something grammatical that I can't remember now. Very exciting! It really helps to have other people at work who are learning so we can practice together.

Hi, in Norway! From Chicago:

I think "mo" means "again, more", "ichido" one time, "yukkuri" means slowly, "onegai shimasu" please or a request.

I don't have any friends who speak Japanese, but whenever my boyfriend starts imitating Arnold Schwarzenegger (in Kristian Valen's way, for all you Norwegians), I start speaking Japanese... That makes him stop, he thinks it's annoying when I say things he doesn't understand
