Well, if you do some of the things in your busy schedule outside your home, you could try listening while on the move. I love listening when I walk to school, take the train to my parents' place and so on. It's something peaceful about being alone in such situations, even though there are other people around, and I find it quite easy to concentrate on what's being said in the lessons. Be careful if you drive a car though... ;)

I bought Pokemon Emerald in Japanese, thinking that since it was a game aimed at children, it would help me with my Japanese (especially since there are no kanji in the game; strictly kana). But what I did not take into account was that as a foreign learner of Japanese, I was/still am learning a very structured form of Japanese, and very polite terminology. As a kid's game, a lot of casual Japanese is thrown into Pokemon. I can only imagine how much worse Final Fantasy games would be, when you have all sorts of archaic terms tossed in (after all, how much call do you have to learn "peasant", "innkeeper" or "dungeon" in Japanese outside of a game like this? :D ) I don't think games like this are a good way to learn Japanese until you have hit at least intermediate level. Just my opinion.

thanks for that, I`ll try to practise while on the move, but here, I can`t do that while walking down the street, or going to school, the city where I live isn`t very safe though.

more that you can imagine, the main point is that here, is not only that kind of things, most of this problem is that it uses level 2-1 Kanji, so it´s actually very hard to understand and read, if you doesn´t study japanese in a daily way.

Is there any other way to learn kana- kanji :?: :?:
is a video game a good place to start looking for language learning :?: :?:
what else should I do :?: :!:
I need to write japanese, so I begun with the hiragana, but it is a little bit difficult for me to do the strokes, I don`t have a good calligraphy, and I don`t know how tolerant is the japanese people in this aspect, as for sending mails it is essential to know what are you writing, as well as for who receives it, `cause I`m sure they definitively want to know what is written down the paper, and so on...

Rest assured, they are remarkably tolerant...one of the teachers I work with (Japanese native) has such bad handwriting in kanji that he is almost illegible, and not just to me. Don't stress too much over it; they'll be durned pleased that you wrote any kanji.

I've never used a brush, but I am left handed. My horizontal strokes always go the opposite way of most everybody else's.

Lefties stay out. You're not welcome in my Japan.

No, seriously...

Read the 矯正 section.

One of my friends was "corrected" in her left-handedness. As I recall, she uses chopsticks right-handed, writes Japanese right-handed, but writes English left-handed.
