I have mentioned these sites in a discussion on one of the Comments threads, and someone suggested they should be posted to this forum. So, here we go!

These are some great animations on the Web showing how to write the Kanji. My favorite is:

For folks using a PDA, the program PAdict has a nice function giving the order of strokes for a large number of Kanji . Free download from:

Animated stroke-order diagrams for all jouyou kanji are available straight from Jim Breen's kanji dictionary. Just look up the kanji and click on the SOD link at the end.
