Japanese characters in RSS feed

Hi,

My RSS reader won't display the Japanese characters; I've tried both RSS Owl and Thunderbird, and both the Atom and the 2.0 feed. The comments feed is working perfectly though. Any ideas?

Works fine for me in rssowl.
What text font are you using (you can find out in the preferences), tahoma works for me but when I change to other fonts like arial it doesnt show the japanese properly.

It works for me in Feedreader (in WIndows) and NetNewsWire Lite (in Mac OS X).

Hm, this is just weird. I tried tahoma - the font changed, but the characters were still not displayed correctly. I guess I could just use another reader, but I've gathered all my email accounts and rss-feeds in Thunderbird, so...

Harvさん, thanks a lot, I really appreciate your efforts, but it didn't make any difference Looks like you're subscribing to the Comments feed though - my problem is with the forum feed.

Ah! Then the problem isn't on your end. phpBB (the forum software) apparently has issues with non Roman characters. I'm not sure why, maybe it doesn't encode them correctly when it sends them out. But it seems to be the same reason why Japanese characters don't show up correctly in topic reply notifications if there're Japanese characters in the thread subject.

It works! I haven't changed any settings in my software, have you done something to the feed? Anyway, it's great that it's working now!
