Serious question: What is the word for female genitalia?

Hi all,

This is my first post here. I'm learning vocab for the human body at the moment but the list I'm using doesn't include words for genitalia. So I googled penis and found "陰茎" is that correct? And what is the female counterpart? I want an answer that isn't vulgar, in the same way in English "penis" and "vagina" aren't vulgar. When I googled my question I found so many different answers and many of them were vulgar or described the vulva and the vagina (I'm not sure which part of the anatomy it is in the Japanese language). I posted it on jref and my question got removed. I posted it on reddit and my question got removed. So, please, japanesepod101. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just asking a question about the human body. I'm really not trying to offend anyone. Can anyone please answer my question??
