Help saying this in Japanese please

Hi there,

I am a record collector and want to be able to say the following phrase:

"Could I please listen to this (record) ?" or "Can I listen in to these records please?"

My smattering of Japanese I learnt of this website has been great, but record collecting is not as popular a topic!

Beginner here:

レコードを聞いてもいいですか 。
(Recoudo wo kiite mo ii desu ka.)

+te form of a verb (in this case, "kiku"--to listen) plus "mo ii desu" states that you may do something. The "ka" particle at the end turns the statement into a question.

If you're speaking informally, you can drop the "desu ka" at the end and say "ii" with a rising intonation, exactly as you would do in English to form a question.

And you don't have to worry about plurals, because there (almost) aren't any in Japanese.

If you want to be more polite, you can say “レコードを聞いてもよろしいですか.”
If you want to say “this”, that is “このレコード” and “these” is “これらのレコード．”
