It's "no dewanai ka".

'No' is a nominaliser: it makes 'ikaridasu' into a noun.
'Dewanai ka' literally means "isn't it?" and it has the same idiomatic meaning of wanting to confirm something in Japanese.

So "no dewanai ka" following a verb means "won't (he) do [verb]?"

"I was anxious: won't father fly into a rage?"
