Having a Hard Time with Katakana

Hello! I have been self-studying Japanese for a few months now and I know Hiragana but I am having a really hard time remembering Katakana. I only know a few simple phrases and some other random words right now but I know I need to know Katakana for many words. I have used flashcard/memory games, writing the characters over and over, but Katakana is not sticking. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I know you have been trying to memorise katakana.
However, you know practice makes perfect.
It is academically said that if you have a review within 48 hours after you lean something, your short time memory becomes long time memory.
