　　Actually, Ice is just water,　you know..

2.)氷がない水を飲まない。
　　こおり　が　ない　みず　を　のまない。
　　I will not drink water without ice.

However, regarding the first sentence, 実は、氷はただの水ですね is better.
When you talk about general things, は should be used.

Word of the Day ろうそく（Candle）

ろうそくが溶けているのが始まるとき終わっているのが三時かかります。
ろうそく　が　とけている　のが　はじまる　とき　おわている　のが　さんじ　かかります。
When the candle starts to melt, it will take 3 hours to finish.

Regarding the sentence,
ろうそくが溶け始めてから終わるまで３時間かかります is correct.
We sometimes can’t use direct translation especially when you want to express “when” in Japanese.
Dictionary form + 時 is like “dictionary form + 前”.　食べる時に「いただきます」と言います＝食べる前に「いただきます」と言います。
Ta-form + 時 is same as “た-form + 後”　食べた時に「ごちそうさま」と言います＝食べた後に「ごちそうさま」と言います

Word of the Day 炭酸飲料　（たんさんいんりょう）　ー　Pop/Soda


１．夏中に氷の入り炭酸飲料を飲むのがさいこうです。
　　なつじゅう　に　こおり　の　いり　たんさん　いんりょう　を　のむ　のが　さいこう　です。
　　Drinking pop with ice during summer is the best.


２．炭酸飲料は体によくないです。
　　たんさん　いんりょう　は　からだ　に　よくない　です
　　Pop is not good for the body

Regarding the first Japanese sentence,
忙しかった後で 再びここで勉強できたのは 楽しかった is better.
I know it’s direct translation and different from your original sentence however, that is natural.

Regarding the second sentence, yes that is perfect!

Their sentences are good.
However, when you put に after 夏中, it sounds like your obligation or your plan.
I think that sentence indicates your feeling so I recommend you not put に.
One more thing is　氷入り is correct.
So the whole sentence is 夏中氷入り炭酸飲料を飲むのがさいこうです.

Word of the Day - 改札口（かいさつぐち）　ー　Ticket Gate

改札口に入れる前にまず、きっぷを入れなければなりません。
かいさつ　ぐち　に　はいれる　まえ　に　まず、　きっぷ　を　いれなければなりません。
Before you can enter the ticket gate, you must first insert the ticket.

I am not sure whether you learnt intransitive verbs and transitive verbs and it might be a typo or a kanji reading error.
However, let’s make sure about them.
入る　はいる　in one of intransitive verbs and means “enter”.
An example of using the word is 私は部屋に入ります.　I enter a room.
入れる　いれる is a transitive verb and means “put something in/into”.
An example is 私はペンをペンケースに入れます. I put my pen in my pen case.
Consequently your sentence should be
改札口に入る前にまず、きっぷを入れなければなりません。
かいさつ　ぐち　に　はいる　まえ　に　まず、　きっぷ　を　いれなければなりません。

Hi Yuki-san,
I was able to read about intransitive and transitive verbs, including hairu and ireru but, sure enough, I'm still not confident about it.

Regarding my sentence; I used "入れる（はいれる）", because I thought this was the potential form.
By saying はいれる, I thought I was saying "Can Enter". Hence; in my sentence I used, "改札口に　はいれる　まえ　に" which I thought translates to "Before you can enter the ticket gate". A little confusing though...

日本には日本語を勉強するのためのテレビ局があります。
にほん　には　にほんご　を　べんきょうする　の　ため　の　テレビきょく　が　あります。
In Japan, they　have a TV station for studying Japanese.

Regarding the new sentence,
わたしが湖で捕まえる魚はいつも新鮮で大きいです is a correct sentence.
わたしが湖で捕まえる魚 is a relative clause, right?
We have a rule which is we have to use particle が in a relative clause after a subject.
For example,
The sushi which I ate yesterday was delicious.
私が昨日食べたすしはおいしいかったです。

The language which I am studying now is Japanese.
.私が今勉強している言葉は日本語です。

The tourist is looking for a bank for foreign currency exchange.
