How to say "important person"

Postby cella28104087 » November 16th, 2014 9:40 am

Hello there,

How to say "someone you care about" in japanese ?
I think "daiji na hito" is fit, but i need a single sentence instead of 2 words join with particles.

Something like "koibito" which means someone you love.
Koibito is good , but the love is in a romance way, is there any word which similar to koibito but in a more general way ? (not romance, just important / special person)

Thank you very much in advance ~

cella28104087 san,

konnichiwa. :D
"someone you care about" means "daiji na hito"!
"someone you care about" is a relative clause so it’s not sentence. Then it’s a clause in Japanese, too...

Koibito is a romantic relationship partner.

Special person means ‘tokubetsuna hito’.
Important person means ‘juuyouna hito’.
