I had Spanish class on friday and during a speaking exercise switched from Spanish to Japanese. I didn't notice but my mate who sits next to me was like.. ..and had to tell me, which we both found quite funny, but proves that Jpod101 is taking over my memories of spanish. I blame the 6-week holidays, but if i do it again I will be quite alarmed, as that would be perhaps the worst thing to do in the Speaking Exam we have this year.

Probably for about the first year or so that I started studying Japanese, my brain had a hard time shifting between English and Japanese mode. When it did switch, it was pretty hard to get it to switch back. It was sometimes hard to keep the 2 seperate and sometimes Japanese would creep into the English mode. It just takes a lot of practice to used to it and seperate them properly. I find it much easier now.

I would merge this with the "funny Japanese slipup" thread, but we don't have a merge function here. Yet.
