Japanese Tattoo help!

Hello,
I'm getting a tattoo done in kanji of the word Breathe, as in "I breathe in". I only want the word breathe, could you tell me the kanji of that please? Also the same with the word Dream.
Also if they are written together what would they mean? Should i have them separate?

Breathe -- maybe 息　works better in your case
Dream -- 夢

息 alone means breath, energy, life, spirits and so on.
The character 夢 also gives readers a lot of space to use their imagination.

They sound weird and meaningless when put together. Maybe it's better to have them placed separately!!
