I was with friends and I heard them say some things!

So I finally met some Japanese people who I could speak to at my college. After some time I managed to catch on to a few things and ask some questions, while helping them with their English as well.
At any rate, I was wondering if anyone can check these sentences to see if I understood these correctly.
車を出して　ほしいん　だけど　と聞いてきた。
(He) asked "I want you to take the car out."
But it actually means:
He asked "Could you drive me somewhere?"
This is also very casual, right?
does the 「きた」　in 「聞いてきた」 suggest someone was approached and asked? It's "asked and came" after all, right?

「どこか　へ　おこっていてほしいですが」
"I want you to drive me somewhere."
Is this a more polite way to ask for a lift?

今何の話をしてるの
What were we talking about just now?
何の話をしていたっけ
What were we talking about again?

First, you understood the meaning correctly
Also the usage of きた is what you understood. It doesn't have to be physical approach,
if the person was already near around you. Without context, I can't really know
if someone went to ask a favour and come back or someone asked you a favour.
This sentence can be understood in both ways.

「どこか　へ　おこっていてほしいですが」
"I want you to drive me somewhere."
Is this a more polite way to ask for a lift?　

I think a politer way to ask for a lift would be;
[place] まで　のせて　ほしいのです　が。
When we ask a favour of lift, we specify the place instead of the word どこか
Verb can be おくって　or のせて

今何の話をしてるの
What were we talking about just now?
何の話をしていたっけ
What were we talking about again?

If you're in the conversation,　何の話をしていたっけ would be more appropriate and natural.
何の話をしているの sounds like you've just joined the conversation of your friends and asked what
they've been talking about.
