Konnichiwa:)

The phrase "Do you want to talk to mom?" is it....

Anata wa okaasan o hanashitai desu ka? (Actually, now when I write this, a few hours later I think it should with the particle "to" meaning with. Eh... i don´t know. The sentence as it is works in google translate.)

or....

Anata wa okaasan to hanashi o shitai desu ka?

oshiete kudasai

P.S. Oh. And one last thing (for the time being) "Did you want to talk to mom?" "sentence-katta desu ka?" right

Dan-san,
well you're very right; it had to be with particle "to" and say
(anata wa) okaasan to hanashitai desu ka.
And the past tense is with "hanashitakatta desu ka" :D

One tricky thing you need to remember about this "hanashitai" or any "wish" expressions
is that you cannot really use it to someone you have to show respect. In such case,
it'd be better just to ask "do you speak to..." in Japanese.
And in such cirsumstances, if "okaasan" is your mother, then the proper word to use is "haha".

Natsuko せんせい。こんばんは。

In this case, it was my little sister I asked, so "haha"

as for politeness level, I'm a little confused. Did you mean keeping it in present tense (あなたはBとはなしたいですか)?

If not, おしえてください

よろしく

Dan-san,
it's actually more about "not using ~たい" when you need to be polite.
We shouldn't use this expresison はなしたい in interrogative sentence and say はなしたいですか because
you sound very cocky as if you're looking down on the other person. That's why (when you need to use
polite speech) you need to say はなしますか instead.

I see, -masu form. Ok.like (anata wa okaasan to hanashimasuka?)

Dan-san,
right. Maybe drop "anata wa" in such cases.
