Promted for another login after I login....

I'm fairly new here but I just wanted to let you guys know that when I login to the website I am promted with another popup asking for another login/password that says : A username and password are being requested by http://central.languagepod101.com. The site says: "Restricted"

Dont know what it is but I figured it was a bug. Doesnt prevent me from logging in or anything, I just hit cancel when that pops up and I'm good to go.

I'm also getting this pop-up message every time I log in or navigate to the dashboard page. If you enter your credentials, it just pops right back up. If you click the cancel button you can continue to browse unhindered. I've got the same behavior on Firefox, Safari and iOS 6. It does seem like a bug but would someone from the Tech team please let us know what this strange behavior is? Is this a hack? Are our subscriptions in danger if we've entered credentials into this dialog box?

I'm not on the Tech team, but I can assure you that it's not a hack and there is no threat to your subscription. It's just trivial a mistake in the code for the web page. The Dashboard is trying to load an image from somewhere that's not accessible to users, so the security system is kicking in and asking for a high-level username and password.

It's been fixed, so the Tech Support team must know about it. It looks like somebody made a small mistake and used an absolute reference to an image instead of using a relative reference. I guess it worked fine on the test/development server, and the problem only appeared when the code was moved onto the live server.

It's a really easy mistake to make. Can you guess how I know?

Ah, I was just relieved to find out that it wasn't some kind of malicious hack. Thanks for the quick replies regarding this issue. Now I can go on downloading content with peace of mind again! I'm a bit paranoid about things like this since I've experienced online fraud first-hand. Anyway, thanks to everyone who contributed to this feed. This community rocks!

I know the feeling of paranoid...
I also hate to see ANY kind of strange move on PC, especially on internet. The first thing immediately
comes up to your mind is "virus? hack?" right?
Well, we have technical support team constantly working, and also we have kind and helping J-Pod listeners,
so please feel free to report any kind of doubtful and/or annoying technical issues!
