"break it down"

Postby Gregster » March 28th, 2013 5:33 am

Way back in one of the very first JapanesePod101 podcasts, Peter used a Japanese verb that meant "to break down" a word or expression. I have a vague impression that it was a compound verb which included 切る, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Does anyone remember that podcast, conversation, or verb?

"Kugitte" from the verb "kugiru" is used in the intermediate lessons. I don't know if that's the one you're looking for.
