> Andy-san,
of course you can interrupt any conversation on our site!!
It's actually ように [youni] meaning "in order to" or something like that.
So, if you say "[verb potential form] + youni", you can express "so that I can...." or "in order to be able to..."

> vanopi8355-san,
Sorry for late reply!! Hope it still make it on time...!
Your sentence "2009年1月~3月、私のインタネット接続は悪いです" is perfect.

YouTube でアメーバサイトのリンクを初めて見た時、アメーバに接続できませんでした。
2009年1月から3月まで、私のネット環境がよくなかったんです。
Youtube de Ameba saito no rinku o hajimete mitatoki, Ameba ni setsuzoku dekimasen deshita.
2009nen 1gatu kara 3gatu made, watashi no netto kannkyou ga yokunakatta n desu.
[when the first time i saw the Link of Ameba website on Youtube, i couldn't connect to ameba website.]
[from january to march 2009 my internet connection was NOT Good.]

This way, these two sentences sounds like one story.

I was not too sure about next sentences, but hope I understood correctly.
私のパソコンのスクリーンがおかしくなって、アメーバサイトの下の部分が表示されません。
ブラウザーには広告も出てきます。
watashi no pasokon no sukuriin ga okashiku natte, ameeba saito no shitano bubun ga hyouji saremasen.
burauzaa ni wa koukoku mo dete kimasu.
[my PC screen became weird; the lower part of ameba website cannot be displayed]
[on my browser, there are some ads on it too.]

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Vanopi8355-san, have you used Google Translate before? It can convert English to Japanese. The interpretations aren't as perfect as Natsuko-sensei's, but it's usually understandable. Should be useful if you're in a hurry and she isn't around.

And 奈津子先生 isn't a free, on-demand personal translation service.

Andy-san, glad I could help!
Thank you soooooo much for your kind thoughts!! :kokoro:
Seeing such lovely posts from both of you, I was really touched and moved!! :D :D
I'm always happy to help you all, but it's true that I can't be here 24/7 unfortunately. But I'll definitely
try my best to help sweet J-Pod listeners like you guys as much as possible! And I'm now more encouraged than ever!

> ashzehedgehog8725-san,
you're right; Google Translate is quite.....
What I recommend is try to translate first yourself; if you have absolutely no idea what to say in Japanese,
use Google Translate or anything similar first, then change and correct what Google Translate gives you.
I can of course help you by correcting your translation and/or giving some feedbacks anytime!
As I wrote above, I might not be able to give you help timely, but I'll try my best to give you reply at least
within a couple of days.
In any way, attempts to translate by yourself will ALWAYS help you learn :flower: :D
So, good luck!

vavanopi8355-san,
you're welcome! :)

You're right; online translator usually don't work properly AT ALL.
When you have absolutely no idea how to write in Japanese, you can first try online translator and
then correct the translation by yourself using your knowledge.
Otherwise, you can try without online translator anyway. I can give you feedback and correct your sentence
of course!

Online translation system is convenient just to use as "little help", but never as a "real help".
Trust me; even I (as you can see on my profile, I'm actually a translator/interpreter) use google translate
when I have sentence in a language I have no idea about, and it helps me getting an idea what it says.
I don't use those software for the serious jobs, of course, nor to write message to my friends.

We can use "rubbish" effectively if we use is wisely, right?
