Showing the lesson transcript in WMP & iPhone

I recently bought an iPhone 4S which I'm partially gonna return because I'm not able to see the lesson transcript, which is embedded in the MP3 itself. It once was possible to play an MP3 on Windows XP latest Media Player but on Windows 7 the audio transcript doesn't show up anymore; the same applies to iPhone integrated Media Player, where I only can tap the center button twice - as suggested - and open the /complete/ lesson in iBooks instead of having the transcript directly in my sight, like it once worked on Windows XP.

Any suggestions? I don't have many days left to test the phone.. ^^

Yesterday evening I was loading the lesson directly from the iTunes icon on my iPhone and loaded a lesson as a podcast, then the text showed up as wanted. When loading the lesson on iTunes on my PC as a podcast first, the lesson transcript didn't appear but instead included a PDF it seemed for iBooks.
