Slang / casual lesson series.

I can't speak for everyone else but I'd love to see a slang/casual lesson series. I find that when I listen to my Jpod lessons I can understand most things just fine, but when I try to watch japanese television, anime etc. I can't understand very well due to the use of slang terms and shortened forms. I also think slang and casual speech has a lot of character and would make for a lot of really fun lessons. It would be even better to have lessons on regional dialects too. Thanks!

I second that. i would really love a casual/slang series because I try to read manga and have often difficulties to get what's meaned. Especially the contractions are really hard for me and the problem is you won't find stuff like this in dictionaries and grammar books.

Maybe a Manga/Anime series would be best then ... Maybe with actual an actual Manga to follow with translations, etc.... could teach common casual speech, maybe some regional dialects, slang, etc... Have a character from Kansai, from Hokkaido, etc... ... Sounds fun!

Yeah, I hate trying to understand Kansai dialect because there are so few resources for learning it. So a manga/anime series would be awesome.
