Can't turn off images after changing any the options , all ways goes back to on after starting /restarting the deck .
Stats wrong e.g. add core 100 word list to flashcards and it shows 699 words

Font size still seems a little large and the words will overflow the card if there is to much text etc.

It seems like it pulls from the same words all the time. Your most recently added words will always get quizzed rather than any of the older words. It should be more random.

Thank you for all of the feedback, please keep it coming. Everything posted here is getting forwarded directly to the flashcard team :)

The issue of cards appearing more randomly is being worked on :ue:

I actually am preferring the old flashcard setup to the new one so far. I liked the drop down options to quickly choose how you wanted to be tested - reading, Japanese, English, comprehension etc.

I am facing the same problem than books3863.
When I click on "lauch deck" or "study" on any of my decks, nothing loads and I keep on clicking on "study more" and nothing loads.

1.Would like to study with a combination of card types, randomly alternating between "Recognition (with Kana)", "Listening Comprehension" and "Production". A few weeks ago when I configured the deck settings for this I would get all three cards types, however the same word 3 time in a row, once for each card type. That wasn't very useful because you obviously know the answer right away after the first card. However now when I select these three type in the deck settings, I only get "Listening Comprehension" cards. This is very frustrating, really wish this would work properly as I feel it's truly stifling my learning progress and has remained broken for several weeks now.

2. The title for my deck, "My Wordbank - Don't Know" keep growing in length , currently says "My Wordbank - Don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t Know"

3. Stats, maybe I haven't figured out how to interpret them, but the numbers always seem way off. So either fix them or write some sort of tutorial on how to interpret them.

Thanks.

Any chance that we can get the old flashcard system back while the new one gets the bugs worked out?

A lot of us would love to be able to test with flashcards again.

It doesn't look like I'm able to add new words to my deck now. It doesn't show any new words I've just added to my word bank when I try and edit my flashcard deck.

Thanks everyone, a lot of these issues have been fixed and just need to be rolled out onto the site.

The issue of new words added to My Word Bank not showing up in the deck manager is currently being worked on.

There are still problems when importing core word lists. It seems like almost all the words are duplicated (e.g 193 words for the core 200, instead of 98 ). And there are no kana again (there were in the previous iteration).

KingDog,
Could you let us know how you have been adding words to your Word Bank? (Core Word Lists, lesson vocabulary, word dictionary, etc.) Hopefully this will help us figure out the problem. Thank you :)

irush,
Thanks for posting! Are duplicates actually showing up in your lists? Does this happen with any Core Word list that you try to add? Please let us know more information if you can ;)
