What you said would get the meaning across. I think it's more natural to use ~てみる in this sort of situation though:見てみて、チェックしてみてね. It adds a sort of "give it a go" nuance.
I'm not sure about ~てくる. Since it's not a spontaneous event, it reads to me like "I just went and found". ~たばかりだ might be a better alternative, although it works fine without it.
I think ちょう is more commonly written with the kanji 超, as maple pointed out, too.

I believe ~てばかりだった is only used with the いつも meaning, and not the "just" meaning of ばかり. Like 「いつも誰かのせいにしてばかりだった」"he was always blaming someone else". 遊ぶ isn't used with computer games; you use する・やる instead. 遊ぶ is for the kind of playing children do, hanging out with your friends, or having flings
