Listening practice

Postby Spiderwick » May 29th, 2011 5:12 pm

I really want to improve my listening skills - can anyone recommend any good books/CDs at N5 or 4 level? :D

You could try the book called Shadowing (available on White Rabbit press). It's actually a way of training your fluency and pronunciation, but the nature of it means your listening skills improve a lot as well. Other than that, just keep listening. Like with all areas of language learning, practice really does make perfect.

Thanks for that. I've managed to find the book and I hope it offers useful activities. I rather like Minna's choukai activties - they're really good too
