ni = 2
hyaku = 100
nana = 7
juu = 10
ni = 2

so read it as 1 ( of thousands) 2 (of hundreds) 7( of tens) & a 2
You get this when put in numbers --> 1000 + 200 + 70 + 2 (now add it all together to get your number) = 1272
