Your listening schedule

Postby yuriythebest1720 » December 5th, 2010 12:23 am

Right, mine, during week days are - 1-2 lessons on my way to university, sometimes I manage to listen for a bit while at university when nothing's going on, then 1-2 lessons on my way back (by 1-2 I mean I usually have time for one, but sometimes, like during traffic I can squeeze in a second one or at least part of one) - on my way back I listen to the same material as when going to university. When at home, when doing creative work or, say, playing NFS I put in older episodes in the background - usually about an hour's worth or so.

Been listening for around a year now (I don't really keep track) - if anyone wants to practice some beginner level japanese my skype is yuriythebest1

Japanesepod101 is epic and fun and a treasure for humanity!! all those courses that you have to travel to and pay thousands of $$ for can

I listen during my work. Right now Im on Newbie S3 cause i slacked off for a while, so Im relearning stuff again and some new stuff along the way too. I can get a good 10 episodes at work and the next day I go through them again.
As far as talking, I'll probably be too nervous and end up forgetting everything.....

I already knew some of the stuff before I subscribed. Some stuff is sinking in Like これ、それ、あれ、どれ ect.
But Since I cant look at lesson notes, while listening, and then study the notes, its takes a bit longer to get things down.

I have come back to japanesepod101 after a two year absence. I have a listening schedule of 4 lessons a week. I listen to my lessons on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I also review each lesson 1 day after, 3 days after, 10 days after, 30 days after and 90 days after. That has been the way I have studied anything I do.
The review sessions do not have to be intense - review notes, words and listen to the shows again. I have the time before work, commuting, lunch, and after work. If I study an hour a day that is good. But I target two to three.
You can do anything if you want it badly enough.

I usually listen to one podcast a day and repeat it a few times during the day too. It's slow going, but I want to make sure it's sinking in. I wish I could view the pdf notes on my blackberry, but I can't seem to get adobe on it :( Anyone got a adobe on their blackberry? :?:
