Should I start with newbie lessons or beginner lessons?

Postby leandroeidi6802 » September 13th, 2010 3:32 pm

I started with the beginner lessons, but soon after that I discovered that there are newbie lessons, too. Because of the newbie lessons description (These lessons are geared towards the absolute beginner), I thought that I should start with them, even though the beginner lessons were already kind of easy.

But after some lessons I realized that the newbie lessons seemed more difficult than the beginner ones. The first lessons basically taught the same things as the first beginner lessons, but added more words and more complex situations.

So, are beginner lessons more "newbie friendly" than the newbie lessons or is it just my impression?

Hi,

you should start with newbie lessons season2. The first season is funny, but for starters didactically not the best choice. Season 2 feels more like real lessons. You can do the Beginner series parallel, it's easy at the beginning but gets pretty tough sometimes. When I started there were no newbie lessons, so I went with beginner. It's fine and was a lot of fun although I think Newbie lessons (from season 2 on) does cover the stuff more slowly and thoroughly.

Thanks for the answer. I'll try the newbie lessons season 2.
