What is this song means

Postby azzozhsn » July 27th, 2010 12:38 am

Hi, I took this part from a song (from Naruto), I know the mean of each sentence because I read a translatation for it, but I need to know every word in it.

いつかきつと
ぼくわてにするんだ
はかなきむねにそつと
ひかいもえていけ

Thanks.

I found this for you on google : I know I’ll have it someday
Light in my ephemeral heart, burn softly

First i saw it i thought itsays: I know that someday i'll get it (in my hands) Let a light in my dead chest burn quickly

いつかきっと僕は手にするんだ はかなき胸にそっとひかり燃えていけ

-For the guys expert in japanese, which one do you thinks is better?
The last part, moeteIKE, i think that way of saying expresses a wish or maybe a command :S hehe-

Well, I want to separate each word and translate them one by one.

いつか-sometime, someday
きっと- surely (usually used to say something you think is very likely to happen)
ぼく- me (commonly used by men)
は-subject particle
てにする- an expression meaning to get hold of, or have in your hand
はかなき- I assume is some variant of はかない meaning transient/fleeting
むね-chest (or heart)
に- within, in
そっと-softly, quietly
ひかり-from ひかる to shine/glitter
もえて- te form of もえる- to burn
いけ- go! imperative form of いく

so all together:
I'm sure someday it'll be mine.
Light burn softly in my fleeting heart.

なつのひにとびこんだ
ホタルわかえらない
