Politics & Government as a topic?

Is it possible to have a lesson or two discussing tems used in Japanese politics and government? For example, in one lesson there could be a couple of people talking about why they like one candidate (for mayor, prime minister, whoever...) over the other one.

If not in a whole lesson, maybe it could be an Audio Blog topic? I would like to see what the Japanese perspective is in relation to the recent resignation of the Prime Minister.
