「追記あり」は何ですか。

I was looking at a new article to translate, and I noticed at the end of the title, in brackets, it said 追記あり。 I looked up 追記, which I found to mean "Post script," which doesn't make too much sense to me. I've looked up the natural usage on Google, and have still found it mostly at the end of titles of things, and once at the end of a blog post.

Here's an example of what I mean.

"A postscript, abbreviated P.S., is writing added after the main body of a letter (or other body of writing). The term comes from the Latin post scriptum, an expression meaning "written after"[1][2] (which may be interpreted in the sense of "that which comes after the writing")."

Thanks, nobap, but I already knew what a postscript was. It doesn't make sense in the context of the examples I found. Look at the link I posted, it's in the title of the article. In English, postscripts are never posted there, but only at the end of something like a letter.

I also feel like in English, a postscript is used only to refer something you add to the end of letters so that may not be the best translation for 追記 (although that is how it is translated everywhere). The word "addendum" comes to mind.. I'm not sure what it is usually called in English. I have a friend who is a journalist so I can try asking her!

English news articles don't have post scripts in titles, so I was confused as to why it would be there.

I understand, but, the post-script isn't in the title, there's a note in the title telling you that there is a post-script at the bottom. That's why it's 追記あり, あり from ある. The post-script is at the bottom.
