Japanese TV

Postby iaai » March 24th, 2010 2:06 pm

Is there some sort of dedicated site (i.e. non-Youtube) that has Japanese TV shows/clips which you know of? Children's television, as uninteresting as it may be, would provide good practice for the learner whose Japanese has not yet clicked. どうも

Do a search on keyhole TV and you can download software to allow you to watch TV live.

Try googling 'youtube めちゃいけ'. A site comes up with listings of a bunch of TV shows. You have to watch them quick though, as they tend to get deleted.

Everyone, thanks for the suggestions! I couldn't understand a lot of the spoken Japanese, lol but maybe someday

Interesting videos.

You can google Kogepan. It was available on crunchyroll the last time I saw it. There are Japanese subtitles so you can check words with an online dictionary.

You might have to install some software to watch the whole thing, but I highly recommend this. That is, if the link still works - I'm afraid I can't check it while I'm at work. If it doesn't, then try googling or searching youtube for 'hajimete no otsukai'. It's a show where tiny children are given errands and it is just about the cutest thing that I've ever seen.
