You can buy the official old questions (with answers) from old JLPT exams. It is put out by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services and the Japan Foundation. I was able to pick up some used ones from a BOOK OFF in New York City but also bought some brand new ones from Kinokuniya bookstore. Great for final practice before taking the test and especially for the listening questions.

Thanks

Thank you, Jessi and Andygakusei. Very helpful! I'm actually looking for level one and two. I heard that the jump between those levels is quite large, and also that Level One got more difficult from this year? Is that so? Does that mean that even if I buy previous tests of level one, that the actual test this year will be more difficult?
Anyway, I'll check out Kinokuniya. Thanks!!

Aladi, great job passing!! Those are awesome scores. How long have you been studying Japanese?

I want to take level 5 this December (the old level 4). I think I can be ready in 8 months.

I am in Japan last four years and I am listening to Jpod audio more than 3 years. However last year only I practiced Hiragana.
Now also I can understand the basic Japanese conversation. But I dont read. Now a days, i am making lot of comments in Japanese in the comment section of the lesson.
Jpod-san helping my writing skill to improve,

Just resurrecting this thread to say I'll be taking N3 in Dublin in December.

Anyone else?

Took my JLPT N5 yesterday, in London at the SOAS university. It was quite easy for the first 2 sections, but the listening seemed quite hard. Funnily though, most of the people i spoke to there had the exact opposite problem in that they couldnt read the kanji that well but the speech was easy lol

Just got to wait until March now to see if i passed :(
