Need help to translate

Postby mint » September 18th, 2009 3:15 am

Hey guys, my Japanese still isnt coming on as strong as id like :( its getting worse the more im home in the UK.. I got this from the other half, something she wanted to only say in Japanese.

Can someone translate this for me please?

おはよう!
So i tell u in Japanese.

So i hope u will understand all exactly :p

I thank you in advance.

Hi!
So i tell u in Japanese.
Recently, I've come to start thinking about my life. I [omg, she says ウチ - ed] have a lot of various "I wish I'd done this!" regrets, and I'd like to make up for my life up until now [that's a somewhat odd expression - ed]. But, even though I intend to act so that I won't have regrets, I start to think it's a bother and get lazy. I've been on days filled with worry...
But, now I'm looking forward, laugh.
That sort of feeling.

[Here she's apparently responding to something you said, and I don't have the context to make sense of it - ed]
Yes. I think I probably won't be able to meet (someone), laugh.
It look like (someone) is coming at the end of September, but I don't know how long (someone) will be here.

Or, something along those lines. What she said doesn't really make a lot of sense (at least to me), but I'm comfortable in saying that's because of what she wrote and not my translation. Anyway, someone more intelligent can correct me. In the meantime, if you had any specific questions on the grammar or why I translated something a particular way, feel free to ask...

It looks like the kanji for 振り替える are incorrect, and it should be 振り返る (to look back on). So いままでの人生を振り替えると… means something like "When I look back on my life up until now..."

Ah. Considered that, but decided to go as written. Makes more sense that way, though, eh?
