no wait, I don't know what I was thinking before, but I don't understand that.

The only thing i know about small kana is their use in syllables like kya, kyu, kyo.

Does the small kana you suggested indicate a similar method of pronunciation?

Also, what about removing "ru" to keep the syllables more consistent? I'm reminded by examples that remove the r, such as ピーター。So maybe it would be better to remove "ru" and instead make the a a long vowel?

Your first name would be マーク (maa-ku), but without knowing the pronunication of your middle and last name it's hard to say how they'd be said in Japanese. Could you let us know how to pronouonce your name?
