tara form help

Postby jampanman » July 22nd, 2009 3:30 pm

Hi,

I recently came across a use of the tara-form which I have not seen before;

髪の毛を切りに行ったら、すごく短くなった。

I know that to can be used to described a sequence of events, how is the above different?

Some further examples would be great.

おねがいします。
