Online Translation Tools

Hi Guys

I am frantically searching for a useful online translation tool, Japanese to English and vice versa. I had a fantastic site saved to my favourites that allowed me to select Japanese Kanji to kana, english to kana / kanji etc but lost it when my pc broke

Does anyone have something similar or even know about the website I am referring to?

Any help would be much appreciated

Google translator seems to be as good as any, and you can use Rikaichan for things you can't read. You can't can't expect a whole lot from translators in general, but if you know a bit about the language, you should at least be to interpret the crazy results.

I often use these sites:

I use this website for translate a single word or a kanji.

2.http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgi?9T
This one is very helpful for me since I can input whole Japanese sentence in to the blank and then it will translate each kanji and kana.

3.http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/
Same as Google translate.

Also try www.alc.co.jp if you can read Japanese. There's a spot where you can type in either Japanese or English and have the word or phrase translated with examples. It's best for words, not for extended text. The example sentences are awesome!
