Using Amazon.jp ??

Postby ryowarrior18 » April 24th, 2009 2:43 pm

I would like to buy some items from Amazon.jp, but I'm a little confused. Do they ship to the United States? And do they take US credit cards? Us Money?

I tried to make an account on the site, but the address is set up for someone who lives in Japan. Is there a way around that, or should I find a different store to buy my items?

(I really hope there is a way, because I haven't been able to find the books I want in most other stores....)

Some help please?

ryowarrior18,
They do ship to the US according to this page: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/ ... eId=596184

The payment will need to be in yen but you can use a US Credit Card.
See: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/help/custome ... Id=1039604

I hope that helps :)

I believe they do, but they only offer express delivery, so you're looking at $40-50 minimum. There was a similar discussion recently, and the site BK1 was recommended by JPod's Jessi. I used it myself and got on fine. Delivery is still expensive, but that's international shipping for you.

Thank you so much for that information! I managed to find a much cheaper version of the manga I was looking for on Ebay for $11, but that's still very good information to know. Thanks again so much!
