ga (particle)

Konichiwa

I have been self teaching for the past couple of weeks and the Japanesepod101 podcasts are helping me so, so, so much. However, around lesson 11 the subject particle 'ga' has appeared in sentences. I am not sure of its use in the sentence and have listened back a few times to see if I missed it, but can't figure it out. Can someone pleas explain to me its purpose.

Ga generally marks the subject of a sentence. There is a description here, and I'm pretty sure this is a topic that's come up before. Here are some threads that you might find useful (which I found using the forum's search function - you can find it up ^^ there^^ somewhere):

Thank you Tauras... I looked briefly through the first page or two but didn't see much - didn't think to look for a search option!
