So in my Minna no Nihongo textbook, くださいます (kudasaimasu) is listed as a class I verb - the meaning is listed as 'give (respectful equivalent of くれます)'.
I figured that if it was a class I verb, the dictionary form of the verb would be くださう (kudasau), but when I google that, it doesn't look like that's the case. Am I being stupid, or is there a mistake in the textbook, or is it irregular, or is there another reason why it wouldn't be kudasau (I did try googling, but evidently my googling skills aren't up to the task).
What about the dictionary form of いただきます?
