I do have one question, does the site give the correct answer if you get it wrong? It seems like I'll type in my answer, and it just repeats it but gives the answer in red.
In the next update, it'll show what you typed in if you get a question wrong. That way you can compare your answer to the real one to see whether you were wrong or something strange going on with the system.

I have just been playing with level 4 and I saw some kanji I would not expect to see For example the 供 in 子供 which yoshida lists as level 2.
Also the examples use kanji out of the level. For example:
今朝から本を３冊読んだ。
The kanji lists are kind of a frankenstein list of a whole mess of lists, then completely re-edited and refined.
The reason sometimes different level kanji appear in different levels is because the words and the kanji for a certain level don't necessarily match each other.
A good example was ひるごはん which is a JLPT4 vocabulary, but none of the kanji that make up that word (昼御飯) is covered under the JLPT4 kanji. However, having the quiz pull up ひるごはん and ask the user to just type that out isn't very challenging. At the same time though, it would be a shame to exclude a vocabulary word, which would still be helpful to learn.
So, it's a bit of a judgment call, but we figure it's better to learn a bit more than necessary, take out some unnecessarily difficult kanji, make it "昼ご飯" and include it with the rest. That way it is still a bit challenging, but the user would benefit more overall.
By the way, if you see any of these types of words and think the kanji are still unnecessary or too difficult, just let us know. These words / definitions / sentences are by no means "set", and we are always refining the list so extra input is a really fantastic thing to have.

One of the words in the JLPT2 list has " (onyomi)" in its reading, so in order to get a correct answer you actually have to type it. Might be a good idea to run a search for this in your definitions. Unfortunately I don't remember which card it was.
Thanks, I've fixed that one. The report a sentence / definition will be back in the next release, we need to retool it to add a comment section and put the link at the end of a result, so it's clear as to what you're reporting.
