the 2000 most common japanese words... where?

Well I don't have an Ipod touch and not even the money to buy one, So Do you know where is possible to find the 2000 most common japanese words for free? :shock:

If you need a vocabulary list, I'd recommend studying the JLPT grades 4 and 3, which comprise around 2,000~2,500 words in all. Personally I would advice reading and listening extensively and simply writing down anything you look up into a flashcard program. It takes a long time but you will progress this way, and understanding word usage will be less of a problem.
