Question about 〜たい

Postby lillo80 » August 13th, 2008 6:27 am

I have a question about 〜たい for the more advanced people out there.
Suppose I want to say that "I don't want to clean today". This would be something like

In the same way, "I don't want to study today" should be:
今日は、勉強したくないてす。

Now if I want to connect the two using the 〜て form conjunction,
what would the sentence look like??

Is this even remotely correct? And if so, does it sound natural or is there a
better way of expressing this idea?

Thanks a lot!!

In this case, you cant use "te form" to connect two sentences.

When you say ~takunai, in a polite form of Japanese, it sounds better if you use "taku arimasen" compared to "taku nai desu".
掃除 mo (too) 勉強 mo shitaku arimasen.
